Chief Executive, PA Group

Clive Marshall joined the board and the Press Association as Chief Executive, PA Group, in February 2010.

Clive was previously CEO of Australian Associated Press Pty Limited (AAP), a position he held since 2001. Under his leadership AAP achieved strong and consistent growth in both revenues and profits while building a number of successful stand-alone media businesses which sit alongside the news agency. These include Pagemasters, which provides page production and sub-editing outsourcing services, AAP Newscentre, the news monitoring and intelligence company, and the largest distributor of corporate news and information in Australia, AAP Media Net.

Before joining AAP, Clive spent a total of eight years with PA Group in a number of roles, including Sales Director of PA Group, Managing Director of Two-Ten Communications Ltd and Managing Director of PA Enterprise. Prior to his time at PA Group, Clive worked for Reed Elsevier Plc and Trinity Newspapers Limited.

Directrice générale

Jennifer Campbell a rejoint Press Association en 1996 lors de l’acquisition de Listings Ltd, une compagnie indépendante fournissant des services d’informations à la presse. Comme directrice responsable des opérations de Listings Ltd, Jennie fut l’un des membres clé d’une équipe de trois directeurs qui a construit l’entreprise à succès avant qu’elle ne soit vendue à PA.

Après avoir rejoint Press Association, Jennie fut nommée directrice de division Entreprises de PA et aussi directrice de PA WeatherCentre. En 2004 elle a pris le rôle de directrice générale de PA Entertainment, la division de PA Group qui apporte en même temps le contenu de divertissement, showbiz et TV de la compagnie pour les plateformes mobiles, Web et publication. Jennie a conservé son rôle de directrice du WeatherCentre pendant toute cette période et, avec l’acquisition de Meteo Consult en 2005, elle a pris le pouvoir comme directrice générale de l’ensemble du Weather Group.

President

Harry Otten set up Meteo Consult in 1985 and the business supplied its’ first customers on 1^st February 1986. Combining his meteorological skills and the entrepreneurial drive he learned from his family, Harry built Meteo Consult into an international company. By the mid nineties the company had expanded into Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom, where a joint venture with the Press Association was established. In 2005 the Press Association acquired the majority of the shares in Meteo Consult.

Harry studied Nuclear Physics at Eindhoven University, starting off his meteorological career with the KNMI - the Dutch Meteorological Office and was a popular TV weather presenter for almost 20 years for both national and commercial channels.

Commercial Director

Maarten Noort joined Meteo Consult as commercial director in January 1995 and is responsible for the commercial development of the company.

At university Maarten studied Analytical Chemistry and went on to work in research in the area of Inorganic Chemistry and Physics at the University of Leiden. He then spent nine years as Laboratory Director and Director of the Department for Winter Maintenance at the Ministry of Transport and Water Management. Here he led the development and installation of a national Road Weather Information System (RWIS) throughout the Netherlands.  Maarten then moved onto Meteo Consult where he spearheaded the development of our market-leading winter road services. Maarten is recognized Europewide as a leading expert in winter road maintenance.

Outside his work for MeteoGroup, Maarten is also Chairman of the Winter Maintenance Group of the National Information and Technology Platform for infrastructure, traffic, transport and public space (CROW) and a participant in the program council of the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI).

Administrateur délégué – MC Wetter

Dennis Schulze a rejoint MC-Wetter lors de la fondation de la compagnie en 1998. Il tenait initialement le rôle de directeur local du bureau de Berlin et fut nommé administrateur délégué de MC-Wetter en 2003. Comme chef de produit pour le secteur de l’énergie, il coordonne aussi les activités de tout le Groupe dans le marché de l’énergie.

Dennis est aussi à la tête du Conseil de l’association allemande des compagnies météorologiques privées (VDW) et a participé à la consultation avec le gouvernement allemand au XIV Congrès du WMO en 2003.

Dennis a étudié la météorologie à la FU Berlin et fut diplômé en 1998. Pendant son temps à l’université il a travaillé pour des services météorologiques privés comme prévisionniste et expert IT.

Administrateur délégué – MeteoGroup UK

Andrew a rejoint PA WeatherCentre en 2000 et a été nommé directeur commercial en juillet 2001. Dans ce rôle, Andrew contribua à construire l’entreprise entraînant une croissance considérable des recettes et en janvier 2006 il fut nommé administrateur délégué de la division météorologique au Royaume-Uni, renommée récemment MeteoGroup UK.

Avant de joindre PA WeatherCentre, Andrew a travaillé pendant trois ans pour une société produisant des instruments météorologiques pour les divers secteurs du transport. Andrew est titulaire d’une maîtrise et est membre de la Royal Meteorological Society.

Administrateur délégué - MeteoServices

Johan Jaques fut l’un des fondateurs de MeteoServices en 1996. Dans les premières années il dirigea les départements météorologiques et techniques. Dans les années suivant la fusion de MeteoServices et Meteo Consult, Johan s’engagea de plus en plus dans la direction opérationnelle de la société en Belgique et en France et est maintenant l’administrateur délégué de l’entreprise MeteoGroup en Belgique et en France.

Johan a une maîtrise en Géographie physique et météorologie, et débuta sa carrière en 1988 comme prévisionniste météorologique opérationnel et enseignant de météorologie de pointe pour le Ministère de la défense en Belgique.

Administrateur délégué - MeteoGraphics

Thomas Hensel lança MeteoGraphics comme co-fondateur et chef de développement en 1997. Sous sa direction les premiers produits de logiciel de diffusion de MeteoGraphics furent développés et installés avec succès dans la plupart des stations TV d’Europe. Thomas prit le pouvoir comme Administrateur délégué de MeteoGraphics en 1999.

Avant de rejoindre MeteoGraphics, Thomas a travaillé dans différents projets de développement de logiciels européens après avoir terminé ses études de physique à l’Université Technique de Berlin.

Administrateur délégué – MeteoGroup, Espagne

René est hollandais et est né à Oosterbeek, près du siège de MeteoGroup à Wageningen. René est arrivé en Espagne il y a huit ans et a démarré sa carrière en travaillant comme agent commercial pour une revue à Madrid. Il a ensuite déménagé pour créer la division espagnole d’une société hollandaise de composants pour ordinateurs, qu’il a développée de telle sorte qu’elle est devenue la deuxième marque d’accessoires informatiques sur le marché espagnol.

René a rejoint MeteoGroup en mai 2006 et se charge du marketing de la large gamme de produits de MeteoGroup pour le marché espagnol.

General Manager - MeteoGroup Scandinavia

Ralf Davidsson joined MeteoGroup Scandinavia when the company was founded in 2007. In his role he is responsible for building the business in the Scandinavian countries.

Prior to joining MeteoGroup, Ralf spent nine years working for a test and measurement company as Key Account Manager, building their analytical instrument and informatics business in the Swedish pharmaceutical industry.

Ralf has a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University in Lund.

Country Manager, MeteoGroup Polska

Monika Muchin has worked for MeteoGroup in Poland since 2003.  She has been General Manager of MeteoGroup Polska since it was founded in 2007, previously acting as the sales representative for MeteoGroup Deutschland (formerly MC-Wetter) in the Polish market. 

Monika trained at The State College of Shorthand and Foreign Languages before graduating from The Private School of Commerce and Law having specialised in Management. She moved on to work for an international trade company in Warsaw.She is excited by the recent growth of MeteoGroup Polska, and is enjoying the challenges of building a market leading weather forecasting business.

Managing Director Meteo Consult

Peter Stoter studied at Delft Technical University and worked for two years within the Royal Netherlands Navy.

In 1991 he joined Meteo Consult Wageningen. Initially as a developer of  new meteorological services for the maritime and offshore industry. Later he was responsible for sales with customers worldwide. His most important achievement was successfully designing, developing and selling the SPOS system for the shipping industry, which is now one of the world market leaders in ship weather routing.

From 1997 until 2005 he was director of Meteo Services in Leuven, a starting business which grew to become the market leader in Belgium with a strong position in France.

Between 2005 / 2006 in his role as manager and adviser he supported  Meteo Graphics in Berlin, a company specialized in weather presentation systems for television, mobile services and new media applications.

From the 1^st of January 2008 Peter Stoter has been acting Managing Director of Meteo Consult, successor to founder Harry Otten.
